The latest edition of Next Fashion & Art Days, event ideated by Sofia Tchkonia, which was held in Kobuleti at the Georgia Palace Hotel, featured smashing young creatives who presented the collections they made behind the jury members of fashion contest – creatives, stylists, fashion designers, pr people, fashion journalists and bloggers -, successful evidence of an increase of the creativity in the realm of fashion in Georgia. In fact there were many finalists comparing with the last edition of event I attended, circumstance which proves the dynamism, emphasized by the young generations here existing who want expressing their creativity and concretely supported by Be Next, laudable event which is born to support the development of fashion and its culture, a moral and material benefit which should also be developed by the Georgia government – as I told to a Georgia TV journalist who interviewed with me -, hopefully by making successful synergies with private initiatives like this, as fashion is culture, but it’s also an industry which gives work to many people and represent the Volksgeist, the spirit of the people. This event is a bright evidence of people full of energy, upstanding and hard-working who is writing a new chapter of its history, renewing itself and growing up after a war, values we, Western, Italian people – who often, instead of endorsing what we have inside and out the fashion realm, forget it or worst, as the contemporary time evidence destroy it – should remember and celebrating, doing more and better without being heroes.
LE CRONACHE GEORGIANE (2): LA PRESENTAZIONE DELLE COLLEZIONI DEI FASHION DESIGNERS PROTAGONISTI DI BE NEXT 2013
L’ ultima edizione di Next Fashion & Art Days, evento ideato da Sofia Tchkonia, che si è tenuto a Kobuleti presso il Georgia Palace Hotel, di cui sono stati protagonisti formidabili creativi emergenti che hanno presentato le loro collezioni dinanzi ai membri della giuria del fashion contest – creativi, stylists, fashion designers, responsabili di pubbliche relazioni, giornalisti di moda e fashion bloggers, dimostrazione della crescita della creatività nell’ ambito della moda in Georgia. Infatti c’erano molti più partecipanti considerando la scorsa edizione dell’ evento a cui ho partecipato, circostanza che prova il dinamismo, enfatizzato dalle giovani generazioni ivi esistenti che vogliono esprimere la loro creatività e supportato concretamente da Be Next, lodevole evento che è nato per sostenere lo sviluppo della moda e la sua cultura, un beneficio morale e materiale che dovrebbe essere consolidato anche dal governo della Georgia – come ho detto a una giornalista di una televisione georgiana che mi ha intervistato -, sperabilmente attuando felici sinergie con iniziative private come questa, poiché la moda è cultura, ma anche un’ industria che da lavoro a tanta gente e rappresenta lo spirito di un popolo. Questo evento è un felice esempio di un popolo pieno di energia, dignitoso e operoso che sta scrivendo un nuovo capitolo della sua storia, si rinnova e cresce dopo una guerra, valori che noi occidentali, italiani – che spesso invece di valorizzare ciò che abbiamo dentro e fuori dall’ ambito della moda, lo dimentichiamo o peggio, come dimostra la contemporaneità, lo distruggiamo – dovremmo ricordare e celebrare, facendo di più e meglio senza essere eroi.
