My stay in Georgia at Kobuleti for attending at Be Next 2013 – about which I talked during the last days – has been the circumstance which gave rise to my meeting with George JB, a bright young boy, a genuine concept walking under the sign of grace, uniqueness, talent and brightness. George is a still a teenager, is seventeen years old and it has been amazing for me to discover the depth of his soul, the clearness of his mind, being something extremely rare to see especially today during the age of big brother generation where individuals often fulfill their inner emptiness by recurring to their outer dimension, the radical attitude or rather the over-exposure which justifies and legitimates this status quo. Instead George is a successful evidence of the harmony between inner and outer dimension, ethic and aesthetic, it could sound like I am talking about a dandy growing up, a bringer of an autonomous way of thinking and being, maybe it is like that or maybe it is much more than that.
Being youth people the future, the ones who will write a new chapter, going beyond these dark times we are living, I has been glad of meeting George who makes me think about the existence of other young people like him there are in the world, hopefully, who are connected to energy and creativity thinking and acting individuals. That is what George evokes, but you, dear Fbfers are asking to yourselves who is George JB?
George JB is a Tblisi young guy who didn’t start the fashion training at yet( he will do it on this Fall, moving to Paris for attending the renowned fashion school Marangoni), but he already presented his fashion project during the Be Next 2012 edition and he also created some of the outfits he wears.
His iconic attitude, a grace emphasized by five years spent as ballet dancer, made him researched also by media who interviewed with him to know more about this Perle Noire (that is his art name arising from a French Viscount who told him:” you are as elegant as the Black Pearl, you are a person who is just as deep as the black pearl in the ocean …you are as complicated to achieve as the black pearl. You are as precious as the black pearl”. Black is also his dress code), a genuine black pearl, under the sign of a languid, melancholy, vampiresque and theatrical charm. I wish him to go ahead down his path under the sign of genuineness, pureness in ideas, thoughts and works, I am sure I talk about him, his talent, the things he created during the forthcoming times.
GIOVENTÙ, CREATIVITÀ & UN CONCEPT CHE CAMMINA: GEORGE JB, LA PERLA NERA
La mia permanenza in Georgia presso Kobuleti per partecipare a Be Next 2013 – del quale ho parlato nei giorni scorsi – è stata la circostanza che ha dato vita al mio incontro con George JB, un brillante giovane ragazzo, un autentico concept che cammina all’ insegna di grazia, unicità, talento e acume. George è ancora un teenager, ha diciassette anni ed è stato sorprendente per me scoprire la profondità del suo animo, la limpidezza della sua mente, qualcosa che si vede molto raramente specialmente oggi, nell’ era della generazione del grande fratello in cui gli individui sovente riempiono il loro vuoto interiore ricorrendo alla loro esteriorità, la sua estremizzazione o meglio la sovraesposizione che giustifica e legittima questo status quo. Invece George è una felice dimostrazione dell’ armonia tra dimensione interiore ed esteriore, etica ed estetica, potrebbe sembrare che stia parlando di un dandy che cresce, portatore di un modo di pensare ed essere del tutto autonomo, forse è così o forse e molto più di ciò.
Essendo i giovani il futuro, quelli che scriveranno un nuovo capitolo, andando oltre questi tempi oscuri che stiamo vivendo, mi rallegra avere incontrato George che mi fa pensare all’ esistenza di tanti altri giovani nel mondo, sperabilmente connessi come lui all’ energia e creatività, individui che pensano e agiscono. Questo è ciò che George evoca, ma voi, cari Fbfers vi starete chiedendo chi sia George JB?
George JB è un giovane ragazzo di Tblisi che hon ha ancora iniziato la formazione nell’ ambito della moda (lo farà questo autunno, trasferendosi a Parigi per frequentare la rinomata scuola di moda Marangoni), ma ha già presentato il suo progetto di moda in occasione dell’ edizione di Be Next 2012 ed ha anche creato alcuni degli abiti che indossa.
La sua attitudine iconica, una grazia enfatizzata da cinque anni di danza classica, lo ha reso ricercato anche dai media che lo hanno intervistato per sapere di più su questa Perle Noire (questo è il suo nome d’ arte derivante da un Visconte francese che gli ha detto: “sei elegante come la Perla Nera, sei una persona così profonda come la perla near che giace nella profondità dell’ oceano…sei così difficile da raggiungere come la perla nera”. Il nero è anche il suo dress code), una autentica perla nera all’ insegna di un fascino languido, malinconico, vampiresco e teatrale. Gli auguro di andare avanti lungo il suo sentiero con genuinità e purezza di idee, pensieri e opere, certa che parlerò di lui, del suo talento, di ciò che ha creato nel prossimo futuro.
