WEIMAR NEW YORK AT THE NEW YORK BARD

It returns Weimar New York, after the show held in 2012 to support the elections of Obama, show ideated by Earl Dax, hosted by the brilliant and inimitable Justin Vivian Bond which will be staged on 2^nd and 3^rd August 2013 in New York during Bard Summerscape at the Bard. The show, an assertive show, explores the subversive decadence giving rise to an enchanting parallel between the Weimar era and contemporary times, told by a sparkling alchemy made of burlesque, cabaret and drag performances, featuring renowned artists from the Downtown New York art scene as Julie Atlas Muz, Penny Arcade, Darrell Thorne, Tigger, Nicholas Gorham and Matthew Charles Crosland. A not to missed happening to enjoy a show, art, music, have fun and think about ideas as identity, dependence and independence.
