Colors, catchy combinations of materials under the sign of ethic of re-use, fun and sophisticated shapes features in the Spring/Summer 2014 collection of accessories, jewelry and furniture by Carmina Campus, brand created by the brilliant fashion designer and sustainability activist Ilaria Venturini Fendi. The new collection – I was pleased to see and enjoy at the Milan showroom of brand – also includes the smashing series of bags 100% made in Africa, a project created by teaming with the ITC (International Trade Centre, an UN Agency), making concrete the famous slogan of brand “Not charity just work”: to create the conditions in order to emancipate African people from poverty through work, giving rise to genuine passé-partout joining a vibrant aesthetic under the sign of elegance and comfort embodying a vibrant, healthy ethic I celebrate.
