THE ANCESTRAL VISIONS BY RENATO D’ AGOSTIN & EIKOH HOSOE AT THEOTHERS_BOOM!

The Milan Mc2gallery will feature in TheOthers_Boom!, tradeshow event which will be held from 8th to 10th November 2013 in Turin where it will be present the photography and the book “Etna” by the photographer Renato D’ Agostin and will screen Navel and A Bomb”, the video by the celebrated Japanese photographer Eikoh Hosoe, unseen and rare document from the Sixties including the performance by Tatsumi Hijikata (choreographer and creator along with Kazuo Ohno of the Butoh performative dance). A successful joining which talks about of the same simplicity of lines and shapes. A suggestive exploration of lights and darks where inner and outer landscapes give rise to strong emotions and ancestral visions that tell about the human soul, its fears, joys and pains.

La Mc2gallery di Milano sarà protagonista di TheOthers_Boom! evento fieristico che si terrà dall’ 8 al 10 novembre 2013 a Torino durante il quale presenterà la fotografia e il libro “Etna” del fotografo  Renato D’ Agostin e proietterà Navel and A Bomb”, il video del celebre fotografo giapponese Eikoh Hosoe, documento inedito e raro degli anni Sessanta che include la performance di Tatsumi Hijikata (coreografo e creatore insieme a Kazuo Ohno della danza performativa Butoh). Una felice unione che parla della medesima semplicità di linee e forme. Una suggestiva esplorazione di luci e ombre in cui panorami interiori ed esteriori danno vita a forti emozioni e visioni ancestrali che raccontano l’ animo umano, le sue paure, gioie e dolori.
