A successful collaboration continues, the one between John Malkovich and Michael Sturminger – who directed the opera “The Giacomo Variations”, and the movie “Casanova Variations” starring the iconic actor as the greatest seductor of all times, Giacomo Casanova – and enriches by the teaming with Martin Haselböck and gives rise to “The infernal comedy. Confessions of a serial killer”, a play which will feature in the 2015 edition of Bucharest International George Enescu Festival and will be staged on 9th September 2015 at the Sala Palatului. An unusual work like everyone imagines when it’s involved John Malkovich ( who also recently features in a smashing video of French band AaRON to launch “We cut the night”, the new album it made which will be released on September about which I tell you much more during the forthcoming days), who tells about Jack Unterweger, a dead serial killer who returns on the stage to present his autobiography during a public reading. To expect the unexpected is the categorical imperative connected to this play where the being John Malkovich blends with music by Beethoven, Haydn, Weber and Mozart and successfully makes concrete the presence of moment, paradigm which is the cornerstone of dramatic arts.

Una felice collaborazione continua, quella tra John Malkovich e Michael Sturminger – che ha diretto l’ opera “The Giacomo Variations” ed il film “The Casanova variations” di cui è protagonista l’ iconico attore nelle vesti del più grande seduttore di tutti i tempi, Giacomo Casanova – e si arricchisce della collaborazione con Martin Haselböck e dà vita a “The infernal comedy. Confessions of a serial killer”(“La commedia infernale. Confessioni di un serial killer”), una pièce che sarà protagonista dell’ edizione 2015 del Festival Internazionale George Enescu di Bucarest e andrà in scena il 9 settembre 2015 presso la Sala Palatului. Un insolito lavoro, come si può ben immaginare quando è coinvolto John Malkovich ( che recentemente appare anche in un simpatico video della band francese AaRON che promuove l’ uscita di “We cut the night”, il loro nuovo album che sarà pubblicato in settembre sul quale parlerò più ampiamente nei prossimi giorni), che è incentrato su Jack Lo Squartatore, un serial killer morto che torna sul palco per presentare la sua autobiografia in occasione di un reading. Aspettarsi l’ inaspettato è l’ imperativo categorico connesso a quest’ opera in cui l’ essere John Malkovich si fonde con le musiche di Beethoven, Haydn, Weber and Mozart e concretizza la presenza del momento, paradigma che è il fondamento delle arti drammatiche.
