Visual, performance art and music – sounds where batucada dialogues with noise, samba and electro music – is the universe drawn by Nico Vascellari, peopled by mystery, atavistic and ancestral energies. Nature, the body, its lyricism, an ontology of being which meets the urge of creating, immediacy of a gesture, making the things happen. This is what shines in his eclectic artistic path. The brilliant artist, very appreciated by Marina Abramovic – with whom he has also set up a performance, featured in the Venice Biennale in 2007, he is founder of Ninos Du Brasil, has been member of With Love and Lago Morto, later he gave rise to Codalunga, the Vittorio Veneto space-studio where he sets up events and concerts -, will feature in an unseen, site-specific project including an installation of bronze sculpture, lightened by two latest works he made that move continuously shadow and light, woodland atmospheres, emphasized by a performance, curated by Pier Paolo Pancotto which will be held on 31st March 2016 at 7:00 pm – and will be on show, running through one week – in Rome at Villa Medici in the Pavillion Ferdinando De’ Medici, in its two rooms, the Birds and Sunrise Room, during Art Club, the section of “I giovedi della Villa”, focused on contemporary creativity and visual arts. A not to be missed event to discover and enjoy a genuine and vibrant artist.

La natura, il corpo, il suo lirismo, un’ ontologia dell’ essere che incontra l’ urgenza di creare, istantaneità di un gesto, di far accadere le cose. Questo è ciò che risplende nel suo eclettico percorso artistico. Il brillante artista, tanto apprezzato da Marina Abramovic – con cui ha peraltro allestito una performance, ha partecipato alla Biennale di Venezia nel 2007, è fondatore dei Ninos Du Brasil, è stato membro di With Love e Lago Morto, in seguito ha dato vita a Codalunga, lo spazio-studio di Vittorio Veneto, in cui organizza eventi e concerti – , sarà protagonista di un progetto inedito, site-specific che comprende una installazione di sculture bronzee, illuminate da due lavori recenti che spostano di continuo ombra e luce, atmosfere silvestri enfatizzate da una performance, curata da Pier Paolo Pancotto che si terrà il 31 marzo 2016 alle ore 19:00 – e sarà in mostra per una settimana – a Roma presso Villa Medici, nel Padiglione Ferdinando De’ Medici, nelle sue due sale, la Sala degli Uccelli e dell’ Aurora, nell’ ambito di Art Club, la sezione de “I giovedi della Villa” incentrata sulla creatività contemporanea e le arti visive. Un evento imperdibile per scoprire e apprezzare un autentico e vibrante artista.
