“TORTURE GARDEN”: THE HOMAGE TO OCTAVE MIRBEAU OF THE HOLLYWOOD ANTEBELLUM GALLERY

It opens today and runs through 21^st May 2016 at the Hollywood Antebellum gallery “Torture garden”, exhibition celebrating Octave Mirbeau and “Torture garden”, the celebrated decadent novel he wrote –published in 1899, during the affaire Dreyfuss, ironically dedicated “to the priestes, soldiers, judges and all the ones who teach, instruct and rule people”, embodying a dialogue about fetish fantasies, desires and nightmares -, featuring works by the photographer and art dealer Rick Castro, Kai Teichert and other artists. A not to be missed happening for all the ones who enjoy literature and art.

Inaugura oggi e prosegue fino al 21 maggio 2016 alla Antebellum gallery di Hollywood “Torture garden”, mostra che celebra Ottavio Mirbeau e il suo celebre romanzo decadente “Il giardino dei supplizi” – pubblicato nel 1899, all’ epoca dell’ affaire Dreyfuss, ironicamente dedicato “ai preti, ai soldati, ai giudici e a tutti coloro che educano, istruiscono e governano gli uomini”; che racchiude in sé un dialogo fatto di fantasie fetish, desideri e incubi -, di cui sono protagonisti i lavori del fotografo e gallerista Rick Castro, di Kai Teichert ed altri artisti. Un evento imperdibile per tutti coloro che apprezzano la letteratura e l’ arte.
