DADAMATIX: ART, FASHION & VISIONS BY TOM REBL

Surreal landscapes that pay homage to Dadaism feature in”DADAmatix“, the Spring/Summer 2016 menswear and womenswear collection by the German fashion designer Tom Rebl, presented during the Paris Fashion Week. A double event under the sign of art and which joined the preview of fashion film “The spirit of our times”, featuring eclectic and iconic personas from the art, fashion and music scene ( as Pino Pipoli, Cori Amenta, Benedetta Barzini, Andy, Arturo Brachetti, Xena Zupanic) to the presentation of the collection, enriched by the performance of talented French actor Franky O’ Right. It was a smashing showcase. many suggestions embodying a cosmopolitan attitude and the tradition of made in Italy, reminding the style lesson of Klaus Nomi, emphasized by unusual volumes and lame clothes in the womenswear. The same geometric patterns are embodied in the menswear, where the sign of fashion designer becomes more incisive and minimal, as it is evidenced by the lines of constructions he made. Beautiful are the accessories, produced by Antonio Urzì for Tom Rebl, including also a marvelous eyewear collection.

Scenari surreali che rendono omaggio al dadaismo sono i protagonisti di “DADAmatix“, la collezione uomo e donna primavera/estate 2016 del fashion designer tedesco Tom Rebl, presentata in occasione della Paris Fashion Week. Un doppio evento all’ insegna di arte e moda ha unito l’ anteprima del fashion film “The spirit of our times”, di cui sono protagonisti eclettici e iconici personaggi degli ambienti dell’ arte, della moda e della musica (quali Pino Pipoli, Cori Amenta, Benedetta Barzini, Andy, Arturo Brachetti, Xena Zupanic) alla presentazione della collezione, che è stata arricchita dalla performance del talentuoso attore francese Franky O’ Right. Una formidabile rassegna, plurime suggestioni che racchiudono un’ attitudine metropolitana e la tradizione del made in Italy, ricordano la lezione di stile di Klaus Nomi, enfatizzata da insoliti volumi e tessuti laminati nella collezione donna. I medesimi motivi geometrici sono racchiusi nella collezione uomo, in cui il segno dello stilista diventa più incisivo e minimale, come si evince dalle linee delle sue costruzioni. Belli gli accessori, prodotti da Antonio Urzì per Tom Rebl, che comprendono anche una meravigliosa collezione di occhiali.

“IN A POP KEY”, THE SOLO SHOW OF ANDY AT THE PIETRASANTA GESTALT GALLERY

It will be opened on 5^th July 2015 in Pietrasanta, at 6.30 pm, at the Gestalt Gallery “In a pop key”, the solo show – running through 5^th August 2015 – of brilliant and eclectic artist Andy ( co-founder of Bluvertigo band, artistic collective Fluon and DJ), featuring the works he made under the sign of new-pop suggestions, fluorescence, irony and lightness. A work telling about himself and the many icons that have peopled his life and influenced his works. “SOUVENIR D’ ITALIE”, ART & FASHION TO CELEBRATE ITALIAN CULTURE AT THE MILAN ORSORAMA ART GALLERY

The iconography of Italy, presented in a neo-pop way, features in “Souvenir d’ Italie”, exhibition which was held at the art gallery Orsorama, owned by the brilliant Matteo Bonelli, placed in Brera, renowned area of Milan city centre and joined art and fashion to celebrate Italian culture. Irony, embodied in the fun photo collages by talented artist Svetlana Schmidt and in the artworks by Fluon – artistic collective and band headed by the eclectic creative, singer, DJ and multi-instrumentist musician Andy, which reinterpreted in a fluorescent way, a leitmotiv its work, objects and personas depicting the Italy as the Ferrari car and Dante -, meets the timeless elegance and uniqueness of the jewelry by Anna Porcu, smashing interpretations of the cameos (some of them are antique cameos, unique pieces, other ones are instead hand-made by Tuscany artisans and combined with silver or gold and leather), evidencing the excellence of made in Italy. It was a pleasant interlude, enriched by colors and nice encounters between friends.

L’ iconografia dell’ Italia, presentata in chiave neo-pop, è la protagonista di neo-pop way, “Souvenir d’ Italie”, mostra che si é tenuta a Milano presso la galleria d’ arte Orsorama, di proprietà del brillante Matteo Bonelli, ubicata a Brera, rinomata area del centro di Milano e ha unito arte e moda per celebrare la cultura italiana. L’ ironia, racchiusa nei divertenti collage di foto di Svetlana Schmidt e nelle opere di Fluon – collettivo artistico e band guidata dall’ eclettico creativo, cantante, DJ e musicista polistrumentista Andy che ha reinterpretato in una fluorescente foggia, un leitmotiv della sua opera, oggetti e personaggi che rappresentano l’ Italia quali la Ferrari e Dante – incontra l’ eleganza senza tempo e l’ unicità dei gioielli di Anna Porcu, formidabili interpretazioni dei cammei (alcuni dei quali sono cammei d’ antiquariato, pezzi unici, mentre altri sono invece realizzati a mano da artigiani toscani e sono abbinati con l’ argento o l’ oro e la pelle) che testimoniano l’ eccellenza del made in Italy. Un piacevole intermezzo, arricchito da colori e simpatici incontri tra amici.

AN INDEPENDENT PROJECT TO SUPPORT: “FUTURA RESISTENZA” THE FIRST ALBUM BY FLUON ON MUSICRAISER

It features in the virtual platform Musicraiser, the new project by Fluon, artistic collective and band including the founder of Bluvertigo band, brilliant artist and beloved friend Andy, Faber, Fabio Mittino and Luca Urbani, a fund raising for giving rise to “Futura resistenza”, the first album of band. An independent project under the sign of art and music dialoguing and influencing one with the other – as it has documented on video by Andy, talking about the production of the album and the simultaneous making of a fluorescent, new-pop painting which will turn into the album cover – deserving to be supported by your modest contribution dear FBFers. It has released the second single track – after “Naked”, the first single and Polvere featuring Enrico Ruggeri – made by the band and art collective Fluon, founded by my dear friend Andy – bright new-pop visual artist, DJ and founder yesterday of band Bluvertigo – along with Fabrizio Grigolo aka Faber and Fabio Mittino. “It’s not independent music” – as Andy asserts -, “it’s just autonomous music” being outside the mainstream or any other realm and cliché. I’m very glad after having heard for many times “Polvere”, track reinterpreted by its author the charming, metallic voice of musician and songwriter Enrico Ruggeri along with the band, artistic collective Fluon featuring as front-man my darling friend Andy along with Fabrizio Grigolo aka Faber and Fabio Mittino – included in the album “Le Parole ai testimoni”(Universal Music) by Enrico Ruggeri and various bright artists -to see its music video which was recently released, made by the Fluon factory where it shines the electro suggestions that are a leitmotiv of its work as it appears also in “Naked” the music video of the first single track released by the band. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANDY!

Today is the birthday of Andy, dear friend, bright new-pop artist, musician and singer – I recently visited, spending a joyful day at Fluon, his factory in Monza under the sign of art, music and Epicurean suggestions – who will feature as dj along with The Sneakers in the “Depeche Mode Tribute” which will be held on 22nd October 2011 in Catania at Il Faro Club. Later his works will be showed in a collective exhibition which will be held on 29th and 30th October 2011 at the Lido Palace Hotel in Baveno during the event “ The model for art 2011. A series of not to be missed happening to enjoy an eclectic artist I give my warmest happy birthday wishes.

BUON COMPLEANNO ANDY!

Oggi è il compleanno di Andy, caro amico, brillante artista neo-pop, musicista e cantante – a cui ho recentemente fatto visita, passando una gioiosa giornata a Fluon (la sua factory a Monza) all’insegna di suggestioni artistiche, musicali ed epicuree – che sarà protagonista nelle vesti di dj con The Sneakers del “Tributo ai Depeche Mode” che si terrà il 22 ottobre 2011 a Catania presso il locale Il Faro. Successivamente le sue opere saranno esposte nella collettiva che si terrà il 29 e 30 ottobre 2011 presso il Lido Palace Hotel a Baveno in occasione dell’evento “La modella per l’arte 2011”.
