Un’ incantevole esperienza di design contemporaneo che unisce felicemente accattivanti, raffinate e divertenti visioni, fatti di segni lievi e al tempo stesso incisivi,come quelli racchiusi nei tappeti realizzati da Stephan.

MILAN SALONE DEL MOBILE: “MEDITATION SPACE” AN EXHIBITION TO THINK ABOUT ONE’S INNER WELFARE SEEN BY JASMIN SCHRÖEDER & EMANUELE MARZI

It opened in Milan during the Salone del Mobile at Le Cavallerizze in the Museo della Scienza e Tecnologia in the area of S. Ambrogio “MEDITATION SPACE”, exhibition which is held during the twenty-first edition of Design Triennale and runs through 12^th September 2016, featuring 11 architects, coming from Shanghai, presenting their ideas on spaces for meditating and elevating the spirit. Buddhism, Taoism, the concepts of energy or rather “Chi” ( known to all the ones makes tao yoga or the discipline of Tai Chi Chuan) are the source of inspiration for a new way of thinking and created, as it evidences the architect Jerry Lai who made “The voice of Brahma”, a structure made of 78 bells placed in the meditation space “Sutra Platform” taking inspiration from this tale: there were two masters questioning on a flag of the temple, which was moved by the wind. The first one thought the wind moved, instead the other thought it was the flag. They continued to discuss uselessly. The master Hui Neng said: “It’s not the wind or the flag moving, it’s just your mind moving”. Instead the architect Lien Tzu Cheng uses the traditional Buddhist philosophy– Diamond Sutra to create a silent meditation space, putting a big world in a little space and expressing «the world in your heart». The core of Zen is to think and purify the mind, this is meditation. The experience of exhibition gives the successful chance to start stabilizing the mind and discover one’s inner welfare: this is the culture of the Chinese Zen Buddhism.

Ha inaugurato a Milano in occasione del Salone del Mobile presso Le Cavallerizze al Museo della Scienza e Tecnologia nei dintorni di S. Ambrogio “MEDITATION SPACE”, mostra che si tiene nell’ ambito della ventunesima edizione della Triennale del Design e prosegue fino al 12 settembre 2016 di cui sono protagonisti 11 architetti, provenienti da Shanghai che presentano le loro idee di spazi dedicati alla meditazione ed elevazione spirituale. Buddhismo, Taoismo, i concetti di energia o meglio “Chi” (noti a tutti quelli che praticano tao yoga o la disciplina di Tai Chi Chuan) sono la fonte di ispirazione di un nuovo modo di pensare e creare, come dimostra l’ architetto Jerry Lai che ha realizzato “La voce del Brahma”, una struttura di 78 campane dello spazio di meditazione “Piattaforma Sutra” che si rifà a questo racconto: c’erano due maestri che discutevano di una bandiera del tempio mossa dal vento. Il primo affermava che era il vento a muoversi, l’ altro che invece era la bandiera. E continuavano a discutere inutilmente. Il maestro Hui Neng disse: “Non sono il vento o la bandiera che si muovono, è la vostra mente che si sta muovendo”. L’ architetto Lien Tzu Cheng usa invece la filosofia buddista cinese tradizionale – Sutra del Diamante per creare uno spazio silenzioso di meditazione, mettendo un grande mondo in un piccolo spazio ed esprimendo «il mondo nel tuo cuore». Il nucleo dello Zen è pensare e purificare la mente, questa è la meditazione. L’esperienza della mostra offre ai visitatori una felice occasione per cominciare a stabilizzare la mente e scoprire il proprio bene interiore: questa è la cultura del buddismo zen cinese.

MILAN SALONE DEL MOBILE: THE NICE SHOWCASE BY IKEA SEEN BY JASMIN SCHRÖEDER & EMANUELE MARZI

It opened the 2016 edition of furniture tradeshow event Salone del Mobile in Milan and a duo formed by photographers and video-makers Jasmin Schröeder and Emanuele Marzi – brilliant professionals who are work and life companions – made a special reportage for FBF of the many events that will be held during these days. The first day started with an event featuring Ikea, a showcase of furniture successfully joining comfort and minimalism, little, big ideas to define and nicely enrich the spaces.

Si è aperta l’ edizione 2016 dell’ evento fieristico di arredamento Salone del Mobile a Milano e uno speciale duo, formato dai fotografi e videomaker Jasmin Schröeder e Emanuele Marzi – brillanti professionisti che sono compagni di lavoro e di vita – ha realizzato uno speciale reportage per FBF dei plurimi eventi che si terranno in questi giorni. Il primo giorno è cominciato con un evento di Ikea, una rassegna di arredi che uniscono felicemente comfort e minimalismo, piccole, grandi idee per definire e arricchire simpaticamente gli spazi.

“RITUAL. A CONTEMPORARY TRANSFORMATION”: THE PERFORMATIVE USE OF BODY SEEN BY JASMIN SCHRÖDER

“Ritual. A contemporary transformation” is a study on film by the bright Italian-German independent filmmaker Jasmin Schröder – who lives in Milan and curates along her life and work partner Emanuele Marzi the ideation and direction of works she makes – telling about the performative use of body, exploring the habits, visual rituals featuring in the daily life of contemporary individual or rather what it is part of that interlude made for celebrating its own self, life, its beauty and many delights. It’s a complex and morphing universe where desires, dreamlike suggestions, obsessions, the conscious and unconscious meet, blur, overlaps with themselves and are embodied in awesome visions that give rise to a successful dialogue between art, fashion and design. Incisiveness. lightness, eroticism, the image as perceptive experience are the signs becoming the cornerstone and a leitmotiv of work by Jasmin Schröder, a talented and promising creative.

A contemporary transformation” é un’ indagine su pellicola della brillante regista indipendente italo-tedesca Jasmin Schröder – la quale vive a Milano e cura insieme al suo compagno di vita e lavoro Emanuele Marzi l’ ideazione e la regia delle sue opere – che parla dell’ uso performativo del corpo, esplora le abitudini, i rituali visivi protagonisti della quotidianità dell’ individuo contemporaneo o meglio ciò che è parte di quell’ interludio, fatto per celebrare il sé, la vita, la sua bellezza e i suoi vari piaceri. Un universo composito e mutevole in cui desideri, suggestioni, ossessioni, il conscio e l’ inconscio si incontrano, si confondono, sovrappongono e sono racchiusi in fantastiche visioni che danno vita a un felice dialogo tra arte, moda e design. Incisività, leggerezza, erotismo, l’ immagine considerata come esperienza percettiva sono i segni che diventano le fondamenta e un leitmotiv dell’ opera di Jasmin Schröder, una talentuosa e promettente creativa.
