It was just only one day I spent in the Rome countryside in La Storta at I Casali del Pino where it was held the tenth edition of Floracult, event created by the bright fashion designer and social activist Ilaria Venturini Fendi, focused on the nature and its culture that featured books launches, talks and permanent installations to pay homage and celebrate the natural world and their little hosts. A smashing chance to come back, enjoy a beloved place, discover and share new ideas and emotions.

Soltanto un giorno, quello da me trascorso nella campagna romana a La Storta presso I Casali del Pino in cui si è tenuta la decima edizione di Floracult, evento creato dalla brillante fashion designer e attivista nel sociale Ilaria Venturini Fendi, incentrato sulla natura e la sua cultura di cui sono stati protagonisti presentazioni di libri, talks ed eventi permanenti per rendere omaggio e celebrare il mondo della natura ed i suoi piccoli ospiti. Una formidabile occasione per ritornare, apprezzare un luogo a me molto caro, scoprire e condividere nuove idee ed emozioni.

Men, animals and plants, everyone has its own story, but from the relationship between them it arises an unique and complex harmony. “Identity, relationship, harmony”, this is the theme of Floracult, event which will be held from 25th to 28th April 2019 in the suggestive frame of Rome countryside in La Storta, at I Casali del Pino, successful celebration of nature, its culture as wells its ten years of life. Many are the events, the permanent installations that talk about the world of nature, its little hosts and different possibilities, shapes and colors. Talks, workshops, book launches as well as a special guest star, Abderrazzak Benchaâbane, professor, perfumer, photographer, botanist, legendary persona from Marrakech, renowned for his gardens that host the Moroccan museum of contemporary art he created and the scents and spices of the perfumes he made. He has worked, during his long career as gardener for over ten years, on the famous Jardin Majorelle in Marrakech, purchased by Yves St. Laurent in 1980, an awesome tropical garden featuring plants coming from all over the world. A not to be missed happening to live and discover again the natural dimension, the depth of its voices and rhythms, a precious source to think about and do, save, take care and protect.

Uomini, animali e piante, ognuno con la sua storia, ma è dalla loro relazione che nasce un’armonia unica e complessa. “Identità, relazione, armonia”, questo il tema di Floracult, evento che si terrà dal 25 al 28 aprile 2019 nella suggestiva cornice della campagna romana a La Storta, presso I Casali del Pino, felice celebrazione della natura, la sua cultura ed anche i suoi dieci anni di vita. Plurimi gli eventi, le installazioni permanenti che parlano del mondo della natura, dei suoi piccoli ospiti e delle sue svariate possibilità, forme e colori. Talk, workshop, presentazioni di libri e anche un ospite d’eccezione, Abderrazzak Benchaâbane, professore, profumiere, fotografo, botanico, personaggio leggendario di Marrakech, noto
per i suoi giardini, che ospitano il museo di arte contemporanea marocchina da lui creato e per le essenze e le spezie dei suoi profumi. Nella sua lunga carriera di giardiniere si è occupato per più di dieci anni del famoso Jardin Majorelle a Marrakech, acquistato da Yves St. Laurent nel 1980, un giardino tropicale lussureggiante ricco di piante provenienti da tutto il mondo. Un evento imperdibile per vivere e riscoprire la dimensione naturale, la profondità delle sue voci e dei suoi ritmi, una preziosa risorsa per pensare e fare, da conservare, curare e proteggere.
Two smashing exhibitions will be opened on Monday 15th April 2019 in Rome from 6:00 to 9:00 pm, “Party Politics” featuring the new work of Francesco Vezzoli, celebrated artist exploring the entertainment of politics and the politics of entertainment at the Giuliani Foundation, as well as another one which features one of the most talented young, multi-disciplinary contemporary artists, Emiliano Maggi, “The club”, solo exhibition curated by Raffaella Frascarelli which will open at the Nomad Foundation, at 6:00 pm and showcase the works where lightness meets the surreal, an overwhelming journey under the sign of expressionist dreamlike suggestions running through 20th September 2019. Due formidabili mostre saranno inaugurate lunedì 15 aprile 2019 a Roma dalle ore 18:00 alle 21:00, “Party Politics” che ha quale protagonista il nuovo lavoro di Francesco Vezzoli, celebre artista che esplora l’ intrattenimento della politica e la politica dell’ intrattenimento presso la Fondazione Giuliani Foundation, come anche un’ altra all’ insegna di uno dei più talentuosi giovani artisti multidisciplinari contemporanei, Emiliano Maggi, “The club”, personale curata da Raffaella Frascarelli che avrà luogo presso la Fondazione Nomad Foundation, alle ore 18:00 ed esporra le opere in cui la leggerezza incontra la surrealtà, un avvincente viaggio all’ insegna di oniriche suggestioni espressioniste che proseguirà fino al 20 settembre 2019. Due eventi imperdibili per tutti coloro che amano l’ arte contemporanea.
The emerging creativity made in Italy featured in Altaroma, a successful initiative which has made concrete through the teaming with ICE (Institute for the Foreign Commerce). Here every day different fashion designers of clothing, jewelry and accessories showcased the creations they made, having the chance of starting a dialogue with the buyers and fashion insiders. Day after day the fashion designers changed, this was the main feature of event which give the chance of seeing many products and discovering new, interesting ideas. Some have delightfully amazed me. One is the shoewear collection of brand from Marche Les Jeux Du Marquis, name which evokes in a playful way the name of celebrated Marquis Sade. Irony, romanticism, craftsmanship and fetish elements are embodied into a series of fun shoes, including crops and bow-ties that decorate them and are removable. Catchy is the creation featuring the lettering which reminds the orders of a mi stress,, categorical imperatives that are impressed over and under the nice shoe. A main feature of this label is the chance of having the shoes with different types of heels, from the lower to the higher and at an affordable price. It refines the showcase a wonderful artisanal unisex perfume and a series of bands that can be overlapped, turning also into handcuffs. Clear are the fetish suggestions that join with craftsmanship and an innovative leather manufacturing and are in the accessories and clothing collection of brand 0770, which includes different types of belts, collars and corset, totally black, under the sign of a refined, incisive, goth for all the enthusiasts, a genuine must have for metropolitan predators and glampires.

La creatività emergente made in Italy è stata protagonista di Altaroma, una felice iniziativa che è stata concretizzata mediante la collaborazione con l’ ICE (Istituto per il Commercio Estero). Ivi ogni giorno svariati fashion designers di abiti, gioielli e accessori hanno esposto le loro creazioni, avendo la possibilità di avviare un dialogo con i buyer ed i fashion insiders. Giorno dopo giorno i fashion designers cambiavano, peculiarità dell’ evento che consente di vedere vari prodotti e scoprire nuove interessanti idee. Alcune tra queste mi hanno piacevolmente sorpreso. Una di esse è la collezione di calzature del marchio marchigiano Les Jeux Du Marquis, nome che rievoca in chiave ludica il nome del celebre Marchese Sade. Ironia, romanticismo, artigianalità ed elementi fetish, è racchiusa in una serie di scarpe divertenti, i cui accessori quali frustini e papillon che le decorano sono rimovibili. Accattivante la creazione con lettering che richiama i comandi di una mistress, imperativi categorici impressi sopra e sotto la simpatica scarpa. Una peculiarità di questa linea è la possibilità di disporre di modelli con diversi tipi di tacchi, dal più basso al più alto e a un prezzo alla portata di tutti. Completa l’ esposizione una meravigliosa fragranza artigianale unisex e una serie di bracciali sovrapponibili, i quali si trasformano anche in manette. Chiari invece i richiami fetish che si uniscono all’ artigianalità e una lavorazione innovativa della pelle che si trovano nella collezione di accessori e abiti del brand 0770, la quale include vari tipi di cinture, gorgiere e corsetti, rigorosamente neri all’ insegna di un eleganza raffinata, incisiva, goth per tutti gli appassionati, un autentico must have per predatori metropolitani e glampires.
Altaroma develops its identity of platform for the emerging creativity and fashion culture. The latest edition has focused on that. Concrete tracks are in many of events, featuring in it. Words and works, clear signs, as the one which has been during the press conference for the Altaroma opening, which has held at the Rome Colosseum Archeological Park, happening evidencing the commitment of institutions for promoting the culture of country as the contest“Vesti il parco archeologico”( standing as “Dress the archeological park”), an award featuring fashion schools to showcase the young creativity and join an eternal culture, the Rome history, to contemporary times and the new. The winners were the students of Modartech from Pontedera, the Milan NABA and a special award has given to the students of Rome Fashion and Costume Academy. Many were the panelists of talk as the President of Altaroma Silvia Venturini Fendi, who restated the purpose and work of Altaroma, as well as the importance of collaboration between the institutions to give an incisive un contribution. In fact she talks about “a virtuous partnership with the political institutions to pull together the greatest history existing( the one of Rome), to young people working on innovative ideas, respecting the tradition and craftsmanship of made in Italy. To discover, train and promoting new talents who give value to the tradition of made in Italy is our mission. Altaroma is a kind of incubator for young people, both young fashion designers or students. We must keep in mind our public shareholding company, Rome wants being the cradle of new, a goal which can get through the unity. Gian Paolo Manzella, representative for the Lazio innovation department, focused on “the issue of relationship between innovation and cultural heritage, as well as the need, in the field of economy, to speak of contamination, as the most innovative societies as the ones that promote the contamination. It’s a word which implies the opening and stratifications, what has been the core of successful talk by the President of Chamber of Commerce Lorenzo Tagliavanti, who marked the importance of culture’s stratification which has made concrete by an opened society and city like Rome, a value which becomes universal and political, connected also to the migration, as he marked, a thorny subject matter of the current Italian political issues ( I remember the issue of immigrants landing and their many deaths, as they haven’t helped on time), laudable words that evidence the political relevance of culture and a lifestyle focused on the dialogue and opening to the others, what is different and new, which can increase moral and material growth and enrichment in a certain country as the city of Rome, Italy and Europe.
ALTAROMA: LE STRATIFICAZIONI DELLA CULTURA, IL NUOVO E L’ IDENTITÀ DI UNA ISTITUZIONE

Altaroma consolida la sua identità di piattaforma per la creatività emergente e della cultura della moda. La sua ultima edizione è stata incentrata su questo. Tracce concrete evidenti nei vari eventi che ne sono stati protagonisti. Parole e opere, segni chiari, come quello che ha avuto luogo in occasione della conferenza stampa di apertura, che si è tenuto presso il Parco archeologico del Colosseo di Roma, circostanza che testimonia l’ impegno istituzioni per promuovere la cultura del territorio come il contest “Vesti il parco archeologico”, un concorso aperto alle scuole di moda d’ Italia per esporre la creatività dei giovani e unire una cultura eterna, la storia quella di Roma, alla contemporaneità e al nuovo. Vincitori gli studenti della Modartech di Pontedera, della NABA di Milano e un riconoscimento speciale lo hanno avuto i ragazzi dell’ Accademia di Costume e Moda di Roma. Plurimi i protagonisti del talk tra i quali la Presidente di Altaroma Silvia Venturini Fendi, la quale ha ribadito la finalità e l’ opera di Altaroma, nonché l’ importanza della collaborazione tra le istituzioni per fornire un apporto incisivo. Parla infatti di “una partnership virtuosa con le istituzioni politiche per accostare la storia più grande che c’è(quella di Roma ndr.) ai giovani che lavorano su concetti innovativi, rispettando però la tradizione e l’ artigianalità del made in Italy. Scoprire, formare e promuovere nuovi talenti che valorizzano la tradizione del made in Italy è la nostra mission. Altaroma è una sorta di incubatore per i giovani, siano essi giovani fashion designer o studenti. Dobbiamo tener conto della nostra società pubblica partecipata, Roma vuole essere la culla del nuovo, un obiettivo che si può raggiungere con l’ unità. Gian Paolo Manzella, rappresentante per l’ innovazione per la Regione Lazio si è rivolto sulla “questione del rapporto tra tecnologia e beni culturali, nonché sull’ esigenza, in tema di economia, di parlare di contaminazione, poiché le società più innovative sono quelle che promuovono la contaminazione”. Una parola che presuppone l’ apertura e la stratificazioni, questo, il cuore del felice l’ intervento del Presidente della Camera di Commercio Lorenzo Tagliavanti, il quale ha rimarcato l’ importanza delle stratificazioni della cultura che una società aperta e una città come Roma ha concretizzato, un valore che diventa universale e politico, connesso anche alla migrazione, come egli ha sottolineato, tematica spinosa delle recenti vicende politiche italiane (ricordo la questione degli sbarchi dei migranti e delle loro svariate morti, non essendo stati soccorsi in tempo), parole lodevoli che testimoniano la rilevanza politica della cultura e uno stile di vita proteso al dialogo e all’ apertura verso gli altri, il diverso e nuovo, con cui ci può essere crescita e arricchimento morale e materiale nell’ ambito di un determinato territorio, come la città di Roma, l’ Italia e l’ Europa.
Nature as a lifestyle under the sign of sustainability, that is what it featured in the ninth edition of Floracult, event ideated by the strong social activist, pioneering fashion designer and farming businesswoman Ilaria Venturini Fendi and curated by Antonella Fornai, which was recently held in the Rome countryside, in La Storta at I Casali del Pino. It’s culture, this, made concrete through different events as workshops, book-launches, exhibitions and talks. The sounds, scents and flavors belonging to the natural world along with its little hosts were the main features, a tale enriched by an awesome frame, the enchanting, relaxing and warmth atmosphere which makes this place a special place where to go and come back. That is what I do since seven years and year after year I continue discovering something new concerning the nature, sustainability. I often use to saying I am grateful to have the chance of increasing my modest knowledge concerning this field to which I am very sensitive and deeply connected.

This event becomes more special as it often gives to me the chance to see many things and also sharing all that with some beloved friends. I like reminding two special moments, a talk featuring the architects Antonio Girardi and Cristiana Favretto, focused on sustainable solutions as the Jellyfish hydroponic installation in its further developments which has been presented during the Milan Expo. They also talked about the PNAC, the projecting team joining architecture, botany and interior design coordinated Stefano Mancuso as well as about the way plants can be used as sensors, model for innovation and means to purity the air. That it has witnessed by “Breath”, an installation evidencing to which extent the plants can be filters to remove the pollution there is in the atmosphere. This and other kinds of solutions that are respectful of the world where we live were adopted by some Tuscany areas as Prato, city with which the PNAC is collaborating. Another special interlude has been the conference held by the iconic fashion guru Li Edelkoort and hosted by the bright fashion journalist Antonio Mancinelli. She created Bloom, a magazine launched in 1998 I was pleased to see and read, to increase the contemporary lifestyles inspired by the love for the plants, flowers and garden. It is a precious contribute she gave in order to increase a sustainable way of thinking inside out the realm of fashion, or rather to define fashion in an anti-fashion way, considering the current vision of mainstream connected to this realm. It’s a different way to think, create and make, that until now it has considered just merely pioneering, but it is born to be the only way possible in the forthcoming future. The consciousnesses arising from that, doubts and ideas were many, a precious gift resulting from this moment of culture sharing: to question and have doubts, ideas on the move, the driving forces of a change, something which is really necessary.
SUCCEDE A FLORACULT: NATURA, CULTURA & SOSTENIBILITÀ

Natura come stile di vita all’ insegna della sostenibilità è stata protagonista della nona edizione di Floracult, evento ideato dalla fervente attivista nel sociale, pionieristica fashion designer ed imprenditrice agricola Ilaria Venturini Fendi e curato da Antonella Fornai, che si è recentemente tenuto nella campagna romana, a La Storta, presso I Casali del Pino. Cultura, questa, concretizzata attraverso svariati eventi quali workshops, presentazioni di libri, esposizioni e talks. I suoni, profumi e sapori del mondo della natura unitamente ai suoi piccoli ospiti erano i prersonaggi principali, un racconto arricchito da una splendida cornice, l’ incantevole, rilassante e calda atmosfera la quale rende questo luogo un posto in cui andare e ritornare. Questo, ciò che faccio da sette anni e anno dopo anno continuo a scoprire qualcosa di nuovo in tema di natura, sostenibilità. Dico spesso che sono grata di avere la possibilità di accrescere la mia modesta conoscenza in questo ambito verso cui sono molto sensibile e profondamente connessa.

Tale happening diventa ancor più speciale, poiché mi offre anche la possibilità di vedere tante cose nuove e anche condivider tutto ciò con alcuni cari amici. Mi piace ripensare a due momenti speciali, un talk con gli architetti Antonio Girardi e Cristiana Favretto, incentrato su soluzioni sostenibili come l’ installazione idroponica Jellyfish nei suoi ulteriori sviluppi che è stata presentata nell’ occasione dell’ Expo milanese. Costoro hanno anche parlato di PNAC, il team di progettazione che unisce architettura, botanica e interior design coordinato da Stefano Mancuso come anche del modo in cui le piante possano fungere da sensori, modello di innovazione e strumenti per purificare l’ aria. Ciò che dimostra “Breath”, installazione che prova in che misura le piante possano essere filtri per rimuovere l’ inquinamento atmosferico. Questo ed altri tipi di soluzioni rispettose dell’ ambiente in cui viviamo sono state adottate in alcune aree della Toscana come Prato, cittadina con cui il PNAC sta collaborando. Altro speciale interludio, la conferenza tenuta dall’ iconica fashion guru Li Edelkoort e moderata dal brillante giornalista di moda Antonio Mancinelli. Costei ha creato Bloom, un magazine lanciato nel 1998 che son stata lieta di vedere e leggere, per incentivare gli stili di vita che si ispirano all’ amore per le piante, i fiori ed il giardino. Un prezioso contributo, il suo, al fine di incrementare un modo sostenibile di pensare dentro e fuori dall’ ambito della moda o meglio definire la moda un una modalità anti-moda, considerando l’ attuale visione di mainstream collegata a questo settore. Un diverso modo di pensare, creare e fare che finora è stato ritenuto meramente pionieristico, ma è destinato ad essere l’ unico modo possibile nel prossimo futuro. Molteplici le consapevolezze, i dubbi e le idee che discendono da ciò, un prezioso regalo, tratto da questo momento di condivisione di cultura: interrogarsi e aver dubbi, idee in movimento, le forze motrici di un cambiamento, qualcosa che è davvero necessario.

Nature, its culture, that is the main feature of nineth edition of Floracult, event created by the pioneering fashion designer and social activist Ilaria Venturini Fendi which will be held from 20th to 22nd April 2018 at the I Casali del Pino, in La Storta, in the Rome countryside. Many will be the suggestions and initiatives connected to that as workshops, book-launches and permanent installations to discover the place surrounding us and new ways to start a deep dialogue, harmony with the natural world and its hosts. Stories of life as the one which will be told ( on 20th april 2018 at 10:30 am) by Elisabetta, Silvia, Liana Margheriti along with Isabella Casati di Monticelli who will talk about their experiences lived with Mario, the father, who introduced in the floristic marked many different plants that became of common usage. Walking in the wood will be the core of talk by the architect and environmentalist Filippo Lapadula ( which will be held on 20th April 2018 at 3:30 pm). “And now it changes”, that is the title of book by Andrea Degl’ Innocenti, journalist and co-founder of project Italia che cambia (which will be presented on 20th April 2018 at 17:30), which embodies a series of visions and actions to make this country more sustainable, fair and successful. A wonderful experience joining architecture, interior design and botany gave rise to Pnat, the projecting team coordinated by Stefano Mancusoand featuring the architects Antonio Girardi and Cristiana Favretto who will tell about their experience ( on 21st April 2018 at 3:30 pm), evidencing how the plants can be used as sensors, model for innovation and means to purity the air. During this event it will presented “Breath”, an installation evidencing to which extent the plants can be filters to remove the pollution there is in the atmosphere. Another precious consciousness is the one by the professor of arborea culture Giuseppe Barbera who invites, through the book the wrote, “To embrace the trees” ( its launch will be held on 21st April 2018 at 5:00 pm featuring the journalist, music expert and enthusiast gardener Carlo Massarini). The ending day of Floracult will feature a talk with an iconic persona of fashion and design scene, Li Edelkoort, who created Bloom, a magazine launched in 1998, to increase the contemporary lifestyles inspired by the love for the plants, flowers and garden. Many will be the permanent events as the art installation “Matter in the air” – curated by the artist Marijcke van der Maden along with Oriana Impei, professor of sculpture at the Rome Arts Academy, who will present the works by emerging Italian and foreigner emerging artist, made by drawing inspiration from the Casali del Pino -, the one by ArteViva which will show the art of loom as well as the many exhibitors of natural products, flowers, plants, Epicurean delights, garments and accessories. A not to be missed happening in a special place to discover and enjoy, where to go and come back.

La natura, la sua cultura, questa la protagonista della nona edizione di Floracult, evento creato dalla pionieristica fashion designer e fervente attivista nel sociale Ilaria Venturini Fendiche si terrà dal 20 al 22 aprile 2018 presso I Casali del Pino, a La Storta, nella campagna romana. Molteplici le suggestioni e iniziative a essa legate quali workshops, presentazioni di libri ed eventi permanenti per scoprire il luogo che ci circonda e nuovi modi per avviare un profondo dialogo, un’ armonia con il mondo naturale ed i suoi ospiti. Storie di vita come quell ache sarà raccontata ( il 20 aprile 2018 alle ore 10:30) da Elisabetta, Silvia, Liana Margheriti insieme ad Isabella Casati di Monticelli che parleranno delle loro esperienze vissute con Mario, il padre, che ha introdotto nel mercato florovivaistico svariate piante divenute di uso comune.. Passeggiare per il bosco sarà il tema del talk dell’ architetto ed ambientalista Filippo Lapadula (che avrà luogo il 20 aprile alle ore 15:30). “E adesso si cambia”, codesto, il titolo del libro di Andrea Degl’ Innocenti, giornalista e co-fondatore del progetto Italia che cambia (che sarà presentato il 20 aprile alle ore 17:30), il quale racchiude una serie di visioni ed azioni per rendere questo paese più sostenibile, equo e felice. Una meravigliosa esperienza che unisce architettura, design e botanica ha dato vita a Pnat, il team di progettazione coordinato da Stefano Mancusodi cui sono protagonisti gli architetti Antonio Girardi e Cristiana Favretto, i quali narreranno la loro esperienza ( il 21 aprile 2018 alle ore 15:30), dimostrando il modo in cui le piante possano essere usate come sensori, modello per l’ innovazione e mezzo per purificare l’ aria. Durante tale evento sarà presentata “Breath”, un’ installazione che dimostra in che misura le piante possano fungere da filtri per rimuovere l’ inquinamento atmosferico. Un’ altra preziosa consapevolezza è quella del professore di coltura arborea Giuseppe Barbera che invita, tramite il suo libro, a “Abbracciare gli alberi” ( la cui presentazione si terrà il 21 aprile 2018 alle ore 17:00 con il giornalista, esperto di musica e appassionato giardiniere Carlo Massarini). La giornata conclusiva di Floracult avrà quale protagonista un iconico personaggio dello scenario della moda e del design, Li Edelkoort, la quale ha creato Bloom, un magazine lanciato nel 1998, per incentivare gli stili di vita contemporanei che si ispirano alle piante, ai fiori ed al giardino. Molteplici gli eventi permanenti tra cui l’ installazione artistica “Materia nell’ aria” – curata dall’ artista Marijcke van der Maden assieme a Oriana Impei, docente di scutura presso l’ Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma -, le quali presenteranno le opere di artisti emergenti italiani e stranieri, realizzate traendo ispirazione dai Casali del Pino -, quella di ArteViva che mostrerà l’ arte del telaio come anche i diversi espositori di prodotti naturali, fiori, piante, delizie epicuree, abiti ed accessori. Un evento imperdibile in un luogo speciale, da scoprire e apprezzare, in cui andare e ritornare.

“To see the world in a grain of sand and heaven in a wild flower”, auguries of innocence, verses by William Blake that remind the suggestions connected to “Hidden Beauty”, the exhibition, curated by Marina Dacci (renowned curator who manages the Max Mara Art Prize for Women at Max Mara Fashion Group) and the artist Krištof Kinterawhich runs in Rome at the Z2O Sara Zanin Gallery through 19th May 2018 and showcases the works by a group of artists as Anna Hulačovà, Krištof Kintera, Pavla Scerankovà and Richard Wiesner. It’s banished the obvious and reasonable in the name of a maze of languages and representations that join and overlap, based on the responsiveness of audience. It doesn’t exist just one only way, there are a variety of paths, metaphor of life, where one is the road and different are its paths as well as the ways chosen by individuals that lighten the beauty, the one which is hidden.

It’s an old, complex and willingly incomplete which opens the way to many solicitations, reflections as well as to the getting of new consciousnesses. This precious and touching showcase, including dynamic installations – as the installation sewing machine which is working by Pavla Scerankovà who successfully depicts the beauty as picture, impressed in a memory in motion, her memory, the one of his grandmother who way behind the sewing machine and the marvelous works by Richard Wiesner under the sign of a surreal constructivism -,tangible representations of what is often hidden to the ego, goes out from a physical place, the gallery to people unusual places where are exhibited the works by Krištof Kintera (a vintage store, gym, bikes seller, flowers store, an artisanal pastry shop, a restaurant and a special place, much loved by me, the Antica Libreria Cascianelli, a bookshop of old books where I use going and coming back), works of matter as a container of cream, a cement flower under the sign of lightness, irony, immediacy and incisiveness. Serene and pure thoughts reveal a synthesis which is finely structured, where it shines clearly a libertarian and synaesthetic approach, a kindness, being the matrix of this tale on art and its features. The plaudit, mine, is for who succeeds to develop projects like this, that are alternative in the most vibrant way, as they track new ways to communicate under the sign of art, talk in an intelligible way about sense, by using sense and value to a bunch of people and, the most important thing, touch.

“Vedere il mondo in un granello di sabbia e il cielo in un fiore selvatico”, auguri di innocenza, versi di William Blake che richiamano alla mente le suggestioni connesse a “Hidden Beauty”, la mostra, curata da Marina Dacci (rinomata curatrice che si occupa del Max Mara Art Prize for Women presso il Max Mara Fashion Group) e dall’ artista Krištof Kinterache prosegue a Roma presso la Galleria Z2O di Sara Zanin fino al 19 maggio 2018 ed espone il lavori di un gruppo di artisti quali Anna Hulačovà, Krištof Kintera, Pavla Scerankovà and Richard Wiesner. Un progetto ambizioso e felice, dar vita a un metalinguaggio che si interroga e presenta la bellezza, l’ immagine e l’ idea ad essa sottesa, nonché la memoria, le emozioni, i sentimenti legati ad essa quale esperienza e stile di vita. Banditi l’ ovvio e il ragionevole in nome di un groviglio di linguaggi e rappresentazioni che si uniscono e sovrappongono in base alla responsività del pubblico. Non esiste una sola via, ma una molteplicità di percorsi, metafora della vita in cui una è la strada e svariati sono invece i suoi sentieri come anche i percorsi intrapresi dagli individui, che illuminano la bellezza, quella nascosta.

Una storia antica, complessa e volutamente incompleta che apre la via a diverse sollecitazioni, riflessioni come anche all’ acquisizione di nuove consapevolezze. Questa preziosa ed emozionante rassegna, comprensiva di installazioni dinamiche – come la macchina da cucire di Pavla Scerankovà che felicemente ritrae la bellezza in immagine, impressa in un ricordo in movimento, il suo, quello della nonna dinanzi alla macchina da cucire e le meravigliose opere di Richard Wiesner dal surreale costruttivismo – , rappresentazione tangibile di ciò che sovente è celato all’ io, esce da un luogo fisico, la galleria e popola luoghi insoliti in cui sono ospitate le opere di Kristof Kintera (un negozio vintage, una palestra, un rivenditore di biciclette, un negozio di fiori e piante, una pasticceria artigianale, un ristorante e un luogo speciale, a me molto caro, l’ Antica Libreria Cascianelli, dove son solita andare e tornare), opere materiche come un contenitore di crema, un fiore di cemento, all’ insegna di leggerezza, ironia, immediatezza e incisività. Camminare avvolti di bellezza. Pensieri sereni e puri rivelano una sintesi finemente strutturata, in cui fulgido riluce un approccio libertario e sinestetico, una gentilezza, matrice di questo discorso d’ arte e dei suoi protagonisti. Il plauso, il mio, va a coloro che riescono a dar vita progetti di questo tipo, alternativi nel senso più vibrante del termine, poiché tracciano nuove strade per comunicare sotto il segno dell’ arte, parlano in modo intellegibile di senso, con senso e valore a una generalità degli individui e, cosa più importante, emozionano.

Howtan Re, bright Iranian architect and artist created years ago Howtan Space, factory and art gallery placed in Roma, at via dell’ Arco dei Ginnasi 5, in the area of Piazza Farnese. It’ s an ambitious project for who, like him, though the time spends, Rome always seems like the same. “ It’s dirty. It’s very beautiful. It’s static”. Not resigning himself to the decadency of city, which, beyond its many levels of criticality, embodies many unexpressed potentialities, he gave rise to a project focused on giving voice to the change, creativity and intercultural dialogue.

The incisiveness of a gesture which becomes line, tells about and examines the being, reality and its continuous and deep dialogue between dream and reality. A survey on the ego, the abyss and fullness of man beyond the space and time, where the desires, melancholy, sadness which becomes lighter, gives silently rise to storm and stress. Lines, signs turn into bodies, open the way to questions on canvas and paper on the human dimension and being which is and cannot not-be, thought it is ferociously caught in its inner fragility which is not weakness, but strength, where the flexibility is a clear sign of vitality. An universal lyricism sings the individual and life as movement towards something, a windy and rough life path full of doubts, stress joy, love and hope, emphasized by grotesque elements, as non-conventional signs that subvert the obvious and reasonable, talking about humanity. That is what shines in the work by Dario Carratta, bright artist who is born in Puglia and lives in Rome, who recently featured in the exhibition “COM surrogate”, which was held in Rome at the Richter Fine Art Gallery, where it has showcased some of the works he made, successful chance to start a conversation between different artists who share the same medium they used, the drawing on paper.

L’ incisività di un gesto che diviene tratto, racconta e indaga l’ essere, la realtà e il suo dialogo continuo e profondo tra sogno e realtà. Un’ indagine dell’ io, dell’ abisso e pienezza dell’ uomo al di là dello spazio e del tempo, in cui i desideri, la malinconia, tristezza che diventa più leggera, dà silenziosamente vita a tempesta e impeto. Linee, segni si trasformano in corpi, aprono la via a interrogativi su tela e carta sulla dimensione umana e sull’ essere che è e non può non essere, seppur ferocemente colto nella sua più intima fragilità che non è debolezza, ma forza, in cui la flessibilità è tangibile segno di vitalità. Un lirismo universale canta l’ individuo e la vita come movimento verso qualcosa, un tortuoso e irto cammino di vita denso di dubbi, angosce, gioia, amore e speranza, enfatizzato da elementi grotteschi, quali segni anticonvenzionali che sovvertono l’ ovvio e il ragionevole, parlando di umanità. Questo è ciò che splende nell’ opera di Dario Carratta, brillante artista di origini pugliesi che vive e lavora a Roma, il quale è stato recentemente protagonista della mostra “COM surrogate”, tenutasi a Roma presso la Galleria Richter Fine Art, nell’ ambito della quale sono stati esposte alcune sue opere, felice occasione per avviare una conversazione tra più artisti accomunati dal medesimo medium da loro utilizzato, il disegno su carta.
