Energy and dynamism, the charm and enthusiasm of youth, a rebel allure and a lot of lust for experiencing and playing features in “Sweet sixteen”, the Spring/Summer 2014 collection by Vivetta, brand created by Vivì Ponti, inspired by the adventurous aesthetics of movie “Daisies” (cult-movie from the late Sixties by the Czechoslovak filmmaker Věra Chytilovám considered as a milestone of New Wave movement) and also the hilarious musical “The Boy friend” by Sandy Wilson. The film suggestions join to other patterns. The stripes and squares, reinterpreting the raffia bags from Sixties/Seventies, are impressed in the jacquard knitwear. The gates, the white gates of houses from Seventies, an old passion of the creative, become embroideries, decorations and join to other elements, the polka dots and floral prints. The shapes and volumes reinterpret the Fifties, Sixties and Seventies under the sign of lightness, emphasized by the palette of colors including light colors (light blue, lilac, yellow) along with white, black, blue, beige and bright shades of green, materials – silk organza, Sangallo cotton lace, silk taffeta, cotton – and a delicate play of embroideries and transparencies embodying hands, faces and gooses along with bows decorating dresses and pants and precious details of craftsmanship and catchy accessories.
LA SWEET SIXTEEN DI VIVETTA
Energia e dinamismo, il fascino e l’ entusiasmo della gioventù, un allure ribelle e tanta voglia di sperimentare e giocare sono i protagonisti di “Sweet sixteen”, la collezione primavera/estate 2014 di Vivetta, brand creato da Vivì Ponti che si ispira all’ estetica avventurosa del film “Daisies” (cult-movie di fine Anni Sessanta della regista cecoslovacca Věra Chytilovám, considerato la pietra miliare del movimento New Wave) ed anche l’ ilare musical “The Boy friend” di Sandy Wilson. Le suggestioni cinematografiche si uniscono ad altri motivi. Le strisce e i quadretti, che reinterpretano le borse di raffia degli anni Sessanta/Settanta, sono impressi nella maglieria jacquard. I cancelli, i cancelli bianchi delle case degli anni Settanta, antica passione della creativa, diventano ricami e decorazioni e si abbinano ad altri elementi, i pois e stampe floreali. Le forme e volumi reinterpretano gli anni Cinquanta, Sessanta e Settanta all’ insegna della leggerezza, enfatizzata dalla palette di colori che include colori tenui (celeste, lilla, giallo) insieme a bianco nero, blu, beige e accese nuances di verde, dai materiali – organza di seta, pizzo Sangallo di cotone, taffetà di seta, cotone – e da un delicato gioco di ricami e trasparenze che racchiude mani, faccia e oche unitamente a fiocchi che decorano abiti e pantaloni, preziosi dettagli di artigianalità e accattivanti accessori.
