ART AND ACTIVISM: PAOLA ROMOLI VENTURI AT ROME THE CENTRALE PRENESTE THEATRE PARTY PRO REFERENDUM

The artist Paola Romoli Venturi will make the performance “gli italiani sono già in fila” and will present the video instant art* SI=NO – two unseen works inspired to the Referendum which will be held on 12th and 13th June 2011 in Italy for asking the Italians to express their opinion about the privatization of waters, use of nuclear energy and the legitimate impediment, a circumstance provided by law that makes avoiding the Prime Minister and ministers  to be processed. A referendum that had not the due advertising on Tv and thus the Telecommunication Authority, granting the fair balance of information, obliged to pay TV channels an expensive sanction – on 9^th June 2011 in Rome at the gardens of Centrale Preneste theatre – Via Alberto da Giussano 58 – during the party pro-referendum Italia si, Italia no, organized by Ruota Libera, dedicated to the freedom of choice and being informed that will involve actors, dancers and musicians. A not to be missed happening to enjoy art and join together and think – as yesterday sang Patti Smith – that “people have the power”, successfully making concrete this idea, starting to cross vertically this dark chapter of Italian history and voting against controversial laws!

ARTE E ATTIVISMO: PAOLA ROMOLI VENTURI AL TEATRO CENTRALE PRENESTE DI ROMA PER LA FESTA PRO REFERENDUM

L’artista Paola Romoli Venturi effettuerà la performance “gli italiani sono già in fila” e presenterà il video instant art* SI=NO – due opere inedite che si ispirano al Referendum che si terrà il 12 e 13 giugno 2011 in Italia per chiedere agli italiani di esprimere la loro opinione sulla privatizzazione delle acque, l’uso dell’energia nucleare ed il legittimo impedimento, circostanza prevista dalla legge che fa evitare al Primo Ministro ed i ministri di essere processati. Un referendum che non ha avuto la pubblicità dovuta in televisione e perciò l’ Authority delle telecomunicazioni che é garante dell’equilibrio dell’informazione ha obbligato alcune reti televisive a pagare una multa salata – il 9 giugno 2011 a Roma presso i giardini del Teatro Centrale Preneste – Via Alberto da Giussano 58 –in occasione della festa pro-referendum  Italia si, Italia no, organizzata da Ruota Libera, dedicata alla libertà di scelta e di essere informati che coinvolgerà attori, ballerini e musicisti. Un evento imperdibile per apprezzare l’arte, unirsi, pensare – come cantava ieri Patti Smith – che la gente ha il potere, concretizzando felicemente questa idea, iniziando ad attraversare verticalmente questo oscuro capitolo di storia italiana e votando contro leggi discutibili!
